Accessories Look of the Day: Jennifer Meyer
We spotted two noteworthy heels at the recent London premiere of A Good Day to Die Hard. British reality stars Sam Faiers and Amy Willerton both rocked the red carpet in styles that gained plenty of attention.
Sam wore a pair of pink pointy-toe pumps with a light peach dress that some critics tore to pieces. I thought the look was sort of cute. Amy, on the other hand, paired nude heel-less peep-toe wedges with a super sexy lace dress that showed off her curves in detail.
Check out both ladies below, and we’ll talk shoes!

Sam’s heels look like the “Abel” pumps from Jimmy Choo in fuchsia. We actually found them at Nordstrom — in black and the same bubblegum-inspired shade that Sam chose.

I love the metallic details on the heels of these wedges. While I’m not a fan of nude hosiery with peep-toe shoes, I can let it slide since Amy is in England (nude seems to be the hosiery shade of choice there, thanks to Kate Middleton).
I’ve looked for her shoes everywhere but can’t seem to find them — I did find an alternative style. I actually think that it would have looked better than the heels that Amy chose.

Do you agree that it’d be a better option with the pantyhose?
More importantly, how do you feel about both of these red carpet heels? Do you prefer Sam’s pretty pink pumps or Amy’s interesting nude wedges?
Though not shoe related, I found these interviews with Bruce Willis and other actors from this event. Check ‘em out.

We had a lot of fun shoe spotting at the Fourth Annual Essence Black Women in Music Event held at Greystone Manor in Los Angeles last Wednesday. The ladies really brought their a-game when it came to their shoes! And they weren’t just expensive designer shoes either — we spotted an under $50 pair that was styled so amazingly, it more than held its own against the thousand-dollar styles.

A fun video with two of our favorite designers, Badgley Mischka!

I don’t know if its me but every time I see Shannon Brown, I have sudden nostalgic thoughts about my childhood and watching the TV Show Dinosaurs. I think he looks like Baby Sinclair.
