Beyonce flaunted her long legs in a high-slit dress at the 2014 Billboard Women in Music Luncheon held at Cipriani Wall Street on Friday in New York City.
The 33-year-old entertainer donned a mid-length merlot Haute Hippie knotted, draped dress paired with chocolate-colored Gucci horsebit-detailed suede sandals with platforms and peep toes.

How do you like Beyonce's long-sleeved dress and Gucci sandals? The shoes have been discounted at Bluefly and feature a horsebit detail, rounded peep toes, and buckled ankle straps.
Selena Gomez has really been upping the sex appeal lately. She was showing all kinds of skin in a red mini dress earlier in the week and continued the trend yesterday in a seductive Chanel frock. The navy dress, which she wore for a taping of Jimmy Kimmel Live, features a thigh-high slit and a lacy bustier. She completed the look with Tom Ford pumps, a slightly undone ponytail, and natural makeup.
Selena has a great style, and she rocks everything she wears. But is it just us, or does this look have a bit of a Kardashian vibe?

Unfortunately, Selena's pumps, which feature bows, mesh, and metallic heels, are sold out online. Thankfully, Tom Ford offers other shoe styles that are just as eye-catching:
Rihanna has been having a blast checking out the shows at Paris Fashion Week, and yesterday's Miu Miu fashion presentation was no exception. She brightened up the arrivals in a colorful, chic, and cozy-looking Prada outfit. She exuded a strong diva vibe through her sharp Cleopatra bob, dark cat-eye sunglasses, multiple ear cuffs, and slim, long black-clad legs.

Rihanna chose the following brown chevron-striped sweater dress and black-red-and-yellow shearling coat from the Prada fall 2014 collection:

We think going for the "older sister" Prada was a wise choice for Rihanna because, to be honest, we don't think Miu Miu's quirky designs quite match her fierce personality.
However, we were let down when the singer decided to cap off her Prada ensemble with Manolo Blahnik "Chaos" sandals. We get it that they're her favorite go-to sandals, but, sigh, what a combo breaker.

We wish Rihanna fully committed to the look and wore these retro-futuristic wedges from the same Prada collection:

We're sure Miu Miu or Prada wouldn't have minded! What about you? Do you think Rihanna should have worn the full Prada look to the Miu Miu show, or are you fine with her outfit?
Expect the Prada fall 2014 shoes to drop at Barneys, Saks, and Nordstrom. As for the Manolo Blahnik Chaos sandals, you'll find them in black patent, nude patent, bicolor suede, glittery gold, and many other colors at Saks Fifth Avenue and Nordstrom.
We're so used to seeing Lady Gaga with her crazy fashion that when she cleans up, we're always taken aback. The eccentric artist left her meat dress at home (or in the fridge) and glammed up for the Oscars a couple of days ago, and we are pretty impressed with how she looked.
She donned a gorgeous Atelier Versace gown at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party after the awards show. The strapless frock features crystal embellishments on the sexy semi-sheer bodice. The singer finished the look with flawless makeup and Lorraine Schwartz jewelry.

Although Mother Monster was all dolled up and lovely, she naturally just had to add some quirk to her wardrobe. We had a quick glimpse of her shoes - a pair of sky-high platform sandals. These custom-made Brian Atwood shoes are 9 inches high! This is a pretty unusual pair to wear at such a glamorous affair, but hey, this is Gaga we're talking about! The sky-high platforms would look really awkward on someone else, but they looked like they belong on Lady Gaga's feet. We think she pulled it off. Don't you think so?
Earlier on the red carpet of the Oscars, Gaga paraded her curves in another dazzling Atelier Versace creation and, reportedly, over $5 million worth of Lorraine Schwartz jewels. She was still, of course, wearing those skyscraper platforms.

We were not surprised when we found out that Zendaya Coleman is now into designing clothes. She really has a great taste in fashion even if she's just 16. Our most recent sighting of her shows another of her chic styling. Take a look at her casual but very fashionable look at 7-Eleven's 86th birthday party held at The Revolve Clothing Malibu Beach House on July 9.

She was actually wearing a Marc by Marc Jacobs outfit with Louboutin heels. Her white high-waist shorts definitely flaunted her legs, and we do love that they matched her vest well. She also wore a very striking paisley-print silk shirt, but the addition of the white vest simply made this ensemble so in style for summer.
Do you love wearing vests? While we normally see blue denims, wearing a white vest is a surefire way to keep your ensemble on trend this season.

No, Michelle Trachtenberg isn't going to be cast in the movie adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey. She was just literally in an all-gray ensemble. Despite this monochrome outfit, though, Michelle looks downright chic.

She could be easily mistaken for her Gossip Girl alter ego, Georgina Sparks. Who knew an all-gray ensemble could look so chic?
I can't really see if she was wearing a dress or a top and a matching hi-lo skirt, but she paired this up with a chic printed blazer. The classic blazer prevented this outfit from looking too ho-hum. Plus, it also gave Michelle a classy and business-chic aura. I think this is a look one can pull off any day, whether for work or for play.
Too bad I haven't been able to find out from which brand or label the actress' blazer is. But if you are going to achieve a similar look, you'll want to check out the following:

We spotted two noteworthy heels at the recent London premiere of A Good Day to Die Hard. British reality stars Sam Faiers and Amy Willerton both rocked the red carpet in styles that gained plenty of attention.
Sam wore a pair of pink pointy-toe pumps with a light peach dress that some critics tore to pieces. I thought the look was sort of cute. Amy, on the other hand, paired nude heel-less peep-toe wedges with a super sexy lace dress that showed off her curves in detail.
Check out both ladies below, and we’ll talk shoes!
Cute vs. Quirky
1. Sam Faiers — Cute

Sam’s heels look like the “Abel” pumps from Jimmy Choo in fuchsia. We actually found them at Nordstrom — in black and the same bubblegum-inspired shade that Sam chose.

2. Amy Willerton — Quirky (or Sexy)

I love the metallic details on the heels of these wedges. While I’m not a fan of nude hosiery with peep-toe shoes, I can let it slide since Amy is in England (nude seems to be the hosiery shade of choice there, thanks to Kate Middleton).
I’ve looked for her shoes everywhere but can’t seem to find them — I did find an alternative style. I actually think that it would have looked better than the heels that Amy chose.
ALDO “Bennett” Pumps, $119.95
Do you agree that it’d be a better option with the pantyhose?
More importantly, how do you feel about both of these red carpet heels? Do you prefer Sam’s pretty pink pumps or Amy’s interesting nude wedges?
Though not shoe related, I found these interviews with Bruce Willis and other actors from this event. Check ‘em out.
We had a lot of fun shoe spotting at the Fourth Annual Essence Black Women in Music Event held at Greystone Manor in Los Angeles last Wednesday. The ladies really brought their a-game when it came to their shoes! And they weren’t just expensive designer shoes either — we spotted an under $50 pair that was styled so amazingly, it more than held its own against the thousand-dollar styles.
We did our job and spotted seven of the fiercest shoes at the Fourth Annual Essence Black Women in Music Event. Now, it’s your turn to let us know which one’s your top pick!
