We often muse how celebrities are so lucky to get their hands on designer merchandise earlier than the rest of us. But have you ever wondered why many of them insist on wearing clothes from spring and summer collections during fall and winter? That seems a trifle inappropriate, isn't it? There's a reason why fall and winter collections exist, right?
That thought just crossed our minds when we saw Zoe Saldana's skirt and top outfit.
71st Annual Golden Globe Awards Nominations Announcement At Beverly Hilton Hotel in California on December 12, 2013
The 35 year-old actress was clad in a boxy cropped top with daisies printed on it. She matched it with a maxi skirt, also boasting of adorable daisy prints and a contrasting striped hem.
The skirt and the top are both from the Spring 2014 collection of Sachin + Babi. The top was worn with a different skirt on the runway and the skirt was worn with a yellow cropped top but the Star Trek actress' take on these pieces was much more interesting. The daisy on daisy mix was a playful amalgam of volume and print.
She did wear it with California's weather in mind, but we think it's an outfit that would have much more impact during spring.
What about you, readers? What are your thoughts?
