Cult Gaia

With festival season just around the corner, there’s no time like the present to prepare your threads for the music-infused three day weekends that lie ahead. Prone to scorching temperatures and cattle-like crowds, music festivals are best attended in minimal attire. Passing out from heat exhaustion is not a good look on anyone, and worse yet, being dehydrated and overdressed fall into the completely preventable category. Given the inclement weather, the little you do decide to wear needs to pack a punch. That’s where Cult Gaia’s whimsical rose crowns come in.

The hippie brainchild of Jasmin Larin, Cult Gaia was born when the former FIT student began making her avant garde hair adornments for fellow classmates. Each of Jasmin’s creations are assembled with heavy-duty wire that forms to the shape of your head and can be tied off with adjustable closures. Also known for its retro-inspired turbands, Cult Gaia’s turban/headbands are lovingly handmade in small batches in Los Angeles from vintage fabrics sourced throughout the city.
