Those in the world of glamour know that there is nothing one can't do in order to depict an obscure and desirable world through the diverse forms of fashionable representation. The image of sophistication and refinement still falls as one of the most appealing and encapsulating appearances that we see today, and every now and then there is a stroke of fashion genius that comes into play and flips the appearance on its head, by adding dazzle and spunk a whole new sense of dressing and styling is brought to light.
And this is exactly what designers Anna Kania and Bonnie Wendler have done in their Glamorous Punk portrayal of apparel and how is it truly Not Dead in the eye of any beholder.
An amalgamation of soft and flowing materials with the sharp biting edges of metal and leather are present in this shoot by Jessica Prautzsch – which features Kania and Wendler’s designs – representing the true form of punk, spunk and rock and roll, but all woven and seamlessly put together in order to bring together two supposedly opposing genres of fashion and lifestyle. Hair and make-up, brought to life by Anna Bell, are subtle; big luscious lips and big innocent eyes that hold in them that classic form of female beauty, however the splashes of shady eye shadow, bright lipstick and dark nails maintain the theme of medieval punk flare.
