Florence Welch Wears a Folkloric Suit with a Gucci Fringed Bag

Florence Welch stepped out in London on June 4 to attend The Other Ball, which is a charity gala that aims to raise money for Arms Around the Child, an organization whose mission is to help "children living in extreme adversity."

At the event, the English singer-songwriter revealed that the third studio album of her indie rock band, Florence + the Machine, is in the works.

As usual, the 27-year-old dressed in her signature folkloric slash bohemian style, wearing a Mother of Pearl fall 2014 printed suit with a white long-sleeved shirt underneath. She styled with a selection of rings and necklaces, a pair of Gucci heels, and a Gucci fringed bag to complete her themed look.

Florence's outfit is eye-catching, but her Gucci bag is equally striking. Together, they seemed to compete for attention, and it was hard to tell which of the two was supposedly the main attraction of the ensemble. We're assuming, though, that many of you would rather carry the bag than wear the suit.

The shoulder bag is made of python and features signature bamboo details, extra long fringes, double tassels with bamboo accents, an adjustable strap with a drop of about 20 inches, a flap opening, and snap and zip interior pockets. This bag is definitely enough for a convincing boho summer look!

We could not find Florence's exact bag, but you might want to consider the following variants of the Gucci "Nouveau" bag:

Hilary Rhoda Shows Some Love for Florals and Other Plants in NYC

It seems like Hilary Rhoda is a huge botany enthusiast - or perhaps she just likes floral prints and some other plants as well.

The 26-year-old model attended the “Persol Magnificent Obsessions” exhibition in New York City just last Thursday; she wore a simple yet very chic ensemble consisting of a plain black tank worn with a Clover Canyon “How High” pencil skirt, which features a marijuana plant print. She then capped off her look with a floral-printed 3.1 Phillip Lim “Pashli” mini satchel that did complement her rather controversial skirt - see what I mean with her love for plants?

Controversial or not, you can’t deny the fact that Hilary pulled off this look flawlessly, and her choice of accessory did her outfit justice as well. It’s such a shame that her floral-printed Pashli satchel is currently out of stock.

However, we do have some alternatives that might suit your need, botany aficionado or not. Here are other 3.1 Phillip Lim bags:

Spotted: Quirky Purses Worth Snagging at the Lulu Guinness Paint Project Party

When we think of Lulu Guinness, the words quirky, playful, fun, and unique always come to mind - qualities that are the handbag designer's trademark. So, just imagine how a Lulu Guinness party would look like; it will literally be filled with women sporting her iconic Lips clutch!

That's exactly what happened the other day when the designer had a Paint Project party at the Old Sorting Office in London. Guests attended the event in their fresh and fabulous outfits paired with Lulu Guinness bags of their choice. As expected, we saw a lot of Lips clutches, but what made the gathering more interesting were the other (non-Lips) Lulu Guinness bags we spotted.

Check them out below, and tell us which one you fancy.

1. Jameela Jamil with “Mid Pollyanna” in Red Patent and “Dial M for Murder Fiona”

Jameela Jamil attended the chichi event with two Lulu Guinness purses in tow - a hot red patent satchel called the “Mid Pollyanna” and a round cross-body bag called the “Dial M for Murder Fiona.” Do you think what she did was overkill?

2. Jasmine Guinness with a “Paloma” Fan Clutch

Jasmine Guinness was one of the guests who toted the more expensive Swarovski-embellished “Paloma Fan” clutch at the event (the Fan clutch retails at 795). We can’t say we love the outfit she put together, but the clutch was downright gorgeous. Would you agree?

3. Jenny Louise Coleman with a “Doll Face Fifi” Clutch

The doll-like Jenny Louise Coleman rocked the “Doll Face Fifi” hardcase for the event. She paired it with a floral frock and a fringed bolero. Sorry, we have to say the look was bad, but her shoes and clutch thankfully made up for the fashion mishap.

4. Lulu Guinness with an “In the Red Hug and Hold” Clutch

Lulu Guinness graced the event with, well, Lulu Guinness. She chose the oversized “In the Red Hug and Hold” clutch to go with her black lace frock. What do you think of her large purse?

5. Oona Chaplin with an “Audrey” Bag

Oona Chaplin gladly coordinated to the hilt in black, red, and white. She picked the “Audrey” bag from Guinness’ line as the highlight of her outfit.

6. Ophelia Lovibond with an “Eye” Clutch

Last but not the least was Ophelia Lovibond, who turned our heads with her “Eye” clutch. Yes, now that Lulu Guinness has made “lips” happen, she’s moving on to the “eye,” for example, the new Eye clutch (which also comes in other colors).
