What’s the deal with pop stars and cake lately? First Rihanna rapped about “Birthday Cake” when it’s not even her birthday, then Miley Cyrus smashed the stuff all over Borgore because “bitches love cake.” Now Lady Gaga is performing her under-the-radar track “Cake Like Lady Gaga” at her Rio de Janeiro show. Watch some incredibly shaky fan-shot footage of the show above - if you have a strong stomach against motion sickness.

Once we can actually see what’s going on, it looks like Gaga was having a fine, relaxed time performing the track, with much less theatricality than we’re used to her. We could get into that!

Big Willie’s still got it! There might have been a melancholy note at Gabrielle Union‘s birthday party, since her Bring It On costar and Blaque member Natina Reed would have been celebrating her birthday the same weekend if not for a tragic hit-and-run accident that took her life. But Will Smith helped keep the mood light by performing a freestyle rap, goaded by Doug E. Fresh, who then joins in on the fun. Anyone who misses Will Smith the rapper, who went MIA sometime around 2005, should definitely check this out.

As a bonus, Will also performs some of his hits from yesteryear, “Summertime” and the “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” theme, proving that the reason he bowed out of the rap game isn’t because his talent has waned any.

Alicia Keys Performs Brand New Track “Brand New Me” At iTunes Festival

We like Alicia Keys just the way she’s always been, but if she wants to be a “Brand New Me,” more power to her. The Girl On Fire played a stirring set for the iTunes Festival on Friday, comprised of past hits like “Fallin’” and several cuts from her new album, including the title track and “Not Even The King.” But best of all, she debuted the brand new song “Brand New Me.”

Co-written with Emeli Sand , “Brand New Me” is a graceful piano ballad of the sort we know and love from Alicia. It can be found on Girl On Fire in November. Watch the entire set, or find “Brand New Me” at the 47-minute mark.
