Taryn on Mies van der Rohe

“Less is more” was an assertion by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, pioneer of modernism and Bauhaus design. Photographer Mark Sink might just agree, his latest shoot of model Taryn Andreatta definitely adhering to the philosophy as far as clothing is concerned.

Instead of being about clothes the shoot is a sensual portrait of model and Mies’ designs; Taryn posing across an iconic Barcelona chair, giving the shoot the ambiguous title of Taryn on Mies van der Rohe.

Benicio Del Toro carries a naked girl for L’Officiel Hommes

It’s another example of nudity making it from the inside pages to the cover: L’Officiel Hommes Paris Winter 2012, with Benicio Del Toro looking as cool as the characters he plays, carrying a seemingly unconscious and fully nude girl.

Bringing fetish to light

Fetish-themed shoots are frequently sexy, but less often are they polished and elegant. Even the countless nods to the late Helmut Newton are regularly enacted in a raw or shadowy way. Andrea Klarin brings us one of those dizzyingly captivating exceptions: fetishist standards of latex and leather, nudity and beautiful anonymity, set against open spaces and luminous, light-filled windows.
